Anju Saumiakumar, wife of late Dr. C.B Saumiakumar, has worked many years alongside her husband in the field of Ayurveda. She is now a highly reputable Ayurvedic lifestyle consultant who operates and manages Ancient Gardens to new heights. Her powerful vision is the driving force that leads the company forward, and her meticulous management is the key that ensures customers are well cared for.

Sonam, daughter of Dr. Saumiakumar and Anju Saumiakumar, is a doctor with MBBS degree from AIMST University, Malaysia. She had been under the tutelage of her father, being most familiar with the ways of Ayurveda since a young age. It was a decisive move to advance her education in modern medicine, so as to combine the knowledge of the two fields and approach patients with a broader set of skills.

Dr. Saumiakumar is a 6th generation Ayurveda practitioner, coming from the Cholayil family of Kerala, where the roots of Ayurveda runs deep. After completing his BAMS at Ayurveda College Coimbatore, he had developed and honed his expertise in many places from India, Germany to Malaysia. His dedication to the field had earned him a reputation that is not confined to one country. Until 2018, he finally resorted to opening his own Ayurvedic centre in Seremban, Malaysia – Ancient Gardens.
