The roots of Ancient Gardens lie within the ancient but profound arts of Ayurveda a time-proven medical science and the natural wisdom of health and healing that has been passed down through generations in Kerala, India. Ayurveda is a comprehensive system of life recognized as one of humanity’s most enduring and sophisticated medical sciences, offering solutions that modern allopathic medicine often overlooks.
Our founders hail from a long lineage of Ayurvedic physicians in Kerala, The Cholayil family has a long-standing legacy in Ayurveda, having practiced and preserved its knowledge for generations. The lineage traces back to Cholayil Brahma Shree Kunhumami Vaidyar, fondly known as the Modern Dhanwanthari, a highly respected physician across India. His dedication to healing and Ayurvedic wisdom inspired the
establishment of Ancient Gardens to honor his life’s work and ensure his legacy continues.This tradition was passed down through generations to Cholayil Babu Vaidyar, a devoted practitioner, and then to his son Dr. C.B. Saumiakumar, the founder of Ancient Gardens and the sixth-generation Ayurvedic physician in the family, driven by a singular vision: to expand and establish easily accessible, quality Ayurvedic healthcare for people worldwide. This heritage is not merely symbolic it forms the bedrock of our clinical excellence and authenticity.
